product description:
At present, there is no practical and rapid technology that can directly collect single cells of interest from cell culture for downstream single cell analysis and reculture. Likewise, collecting specific tissue regions or individual cells from heterogeneous tissues remains challenging. Existing technologies, including flow screening and laser-assisted screening, are expensive, complicated, and have various limitations in use. Unipick is the latest single cell and tissue collection system funded by the National Institutes of Health. The performance of the system is unique, the pulse pressure uses the patented power, the glass capillary as a tool, can be used together, most inverted microscopes, you can quickly and accurately obtain single cells or cell clones directly from traditional cell culture plates, and Slight effect on cell viability. The collected cells can be re-sutured and used for various downstream single-cell analysis. According to histopathology, fluorescent labeling and anatomy, the system can also collect single cells and specific anatomical regions from complex heterogeneous tissues (such as brain tissue).
Unipick technical features:
√ Easy to operate, easy to use
√ Resolution of a single cell
√ Can collect adherent cells, suspension cells, and three-dimensional culture cells
√Single cells after collection have high activity
√ High-quality RNA and protein are used for various downstream tissue analysis
√Flexible, economical and low cost
At present, there is no practical and rapid technology that can directly collect single cells of interest from cell culture for downstream single cell analysis and reculture. Likewise, collecting specific tissue regions or individual cells from heterogeneous tissues remains challenging. Existing technologies, including flow screening and laser-assisted screening, are expensive, complicated, and have various limitations in use.
Technical principle:
Existing single-cell collection technologies often require a large number of cell samples, which are costly and require complicated sample processing in the early stage. In addition, due to random sampling, the results are often unsatisfactory. Unipick provides a new method of collecting individual units. Under the direct observation of the microscope, the most needed cells can be collected, and the whole process is controlled and monitored by the user.
The system has fluorescence compatibility and can collect cells based on fluorescence labeling, cell morphology and location. The system can be used for all major cell culture types, including attached cell culture, suspension cell culture and three-dimensional cell culture, covering all fields of life sciences. Laboratory routine cell culture kits can be collected directly without special culture plates or pretreatment. The damage to the cells is slight, the cells are still active and can heal again.
Application areas:
Single cell collection
Tissue fiber cutting
Cell clonal expansion
Cell tissue specific research
NGS omics analysis
Applications
Microdissection of brain tissue
UnipicK can cut 5-300 micron thick tissue sections, living tissue, fresh frozen and sucrose-treated tissue can use this system.
The collection process does not involve heating, radiation, laser or chemical processing. High-quality nucleic acids and proteins can be obtained from tissues collected by UnipicK, and can be used in various downstream modern molecular biology and histological analyses. The sample does not need special treatment to reduce the sample processing time and effectively save time, so as to better maintain the quality of the sample. Unipick can collect not only specific areas of tissue slices, but also individual cells. The system has fluorescence compatibility and can collect tissue regions and cells of interest based on fluorescent markers, pathological and anatomical features. Fast, simple and accurate!
